A little over a year ago I was in Belgium and France meeting with my favorite dealers and filling up a container to bring home some unique and one-of-a-kind antique pieces. Little did I know at the time – but that would be my last buying trip to Europe.
Facing the reality that the time has come to close the business has been difficult, but given the high costs of running an import business and new taxes in the form of tariffs, has become unsustainable.
Let me thank you, our loyal clients and friends–for your patronage and support. You have made my life long dream of running this remarkable business a reality for the past 15 years. WE are proud to have offered fine European antiques–lovingly selected–to homeowners and dealers in and around Kansas City and beyond for over 50 years.
Starting Saturday, March 7, I will begin selling off all inventory, with markdowns of 50 % – Woodson’s will be closed the week prior, to make preparations, and will reopen at 10am that Saturday. First come – first serve – no numbers at the door
